The Kilmacud Crokes senior hurlers reached the Dublin county final for the first time since 1996 with a 4-12 to 2-7 semi final victory over Crumlin in Parnell Park on Sunday 26th October 2008.
Having travelled the highways and byways of Ireland over the last few years, Kilmacud Crokes U-10s took the opportunity to return some hospitablity last weekend. Six visiting clubs joined two home teams in competing in a blitz tournament organised by the mentors and parents of KC’s U-10 group.

Re-scheduling arising from the drawn SFC semi-final between St Vincents and Crokes
The Under 13s beat Ballyboden St Endas by two points in the Championship Semi Final on Saturday 4 October 2008 in Deerpark.. Trailing by two points at half time and at one stage in the second half down by seven points, Crokes fought back bravely to record a magnificant victory.
There was a large turnout, of over 30 parents at the Hurling Nursery Meeting for “new players” on Thursday last (2 October 2008) in Glenalbyn, where Niall Corcoran and Donie Dowling spoke about the development of the nursery and the coaching plan for the new nursery group.
