Celebrating the Purple and Gold - Great day at Glenalbyn!

Body

Despite the odd shower of rain the sun shone brightly in Glenalbyn, as Crokes crelebrated multiple successes in 2021/2022

It was a day of celebration, fun, music and much more, as the club honored the various on and off field successes over the past 12 months.

It was a day when teams and members from all sections and age groups came together to celebrate their achievements/performances in the last 12 months.  From the recent Feile team successes across all codes, to the Under 13 Camogie championship team, Minor success across both Hurling and Football, Junior Football championship success and of course our County champions in Snr Hurling and Football, aswell as Leinster and All Ireland Club football finalists. It was an occasion  when the Purple and Gold was worn proudly by all.  One of the highlights of the day was a combined photo of our Double County champions in Snr Hurling / Football wearing Crokes Retro jerseys which had been presented to each player in recognition of their recent championship performance.  Definitely a photo which will be proudly displayed in the club for years to come.

The event also recognised the significant development in our club facilities - with the upcoming completion / opening of Pairc De Burca redevelopment, our new expanded shop which did great business during the afternoon aswell as the work nearing completion to upgrade our gym.

Thanks to all who were involved in organising the day and to all members who attended.  A special thanks to Diarmuid and Edel for taking the photo's at the event.
