• It's important to understand the cost structure that apply across the club
Club Membership
Development Levy,
Players fees (for the hurling/Football, ladies football and Camogie Sections).
These are outlined below for both club members and non-club members.
Please note that as GAA, Ladies Football and Camogie are all run by three completely separate National Governing bodies, the insurance fees for players can vary considerably and this is reflected in the fee charged by the Junior sections of the Club.
Conscious of the current economic climate facing parents, the juvenile sections have made considerable effort to reduce or maintain player fees. Kilmacud Crokes believe that it is extremely important that all, especially children, continue to participate in sport. Therefore if you are experiencing financial difficulties, please contact the Registrar, Anne O'Connor at 087 2079845 in strictest confidence BEFORE Jan 28th in order to have your child registered on time.
For Insurance purposes, Players who are not registered by the 3rd February 2012 cannot train or play with any Kilmacud Crokes team
• Each parent/guardian must read the Parents/Guardians Code of Conduct and each player must read the Player's Code of Conduct. Photographic images and video are also dealt with in these forms so please read carefully. These documents can be viewed on the Club Website http://www.kilmacudcrokes.com/ in any of the
sections and hard copies will be available for viewing on registration day. In signing the Registration form, you are confirming that you and your child have read and will abide by these codes.
CLUB MEMBERSHIP
€180 is the yearly Club membership family fee
€135 is a single membership over the age of 21.
€115 is the membership fee between the ages of 16 and 21.
Players who reach the age of 16 and do not have family membership must take out club membership. (Please note that adult teams (u16 upwards) in some sections are asked to
make a contribution towards the cost of running teams - the office or the section in question will be able to inform you if an additional charge is being applied for 2012).
Families who renew or take out 2012 GAA family membership are eligible to pay Club member rates for their children when playing hurling, football or Camogie (as outlined in the table below) . You must pay your club membership and your levy before availing of
family rates. Family membership covers your children until they leave full time education. N.B A single adult membership does not qualify for family club rates.
DEVELOPMENT LEVY
The 2008 Kilmacud Crokes GAA Club AGM approved a motion to impose a Development levy on all its members for 5 years from 2009. The Levy is payable once per family and only
applies to those families with children above nursery level.
Club members should pay their levy in the club office when renewing their membership.
The levy for Members is €150 and for Non Members is €75.
A Motion was carried at the 2011 Kilmacud Crokes AGM to the effect that levies due or the next two years can be paid over the next three years.
Accordingly, the levy for Members is €100 and Non Members pay €50. (this is optional and
those who wish to do so can still pay over two years).
