Community Call Update

We are delighted to report that even in the current circumstances, the spirit and dedication that underpins Kilmacud Crokes is alive and well. Whilst we are all dealing with our own challenges during this Covid-19 emergency, it is great to see the membership of our great club reaching out to help others in the community who need a helping hand.  We have over 170 volunteers who have answered the call and are providing an invaluable support structure for those needing help in our community. Our dedicated volunteer admin team take and allocate requests to our small volunteer army of members. To date, our volunteers have collected and delivered over 300 grocery deliveries. They have buddied or befriended 25 isolated/cocooning people. Prescriptions have been collected and delivered and dogs walked.  Some Volunteers are tradespeople,  plumbers and electricians who have provided support in case of emergencies.  To all those involved, we salute and thank you. You are a credit to yourselves and to Kilmacud Crokes.
