Crokes Talks is a brand / tag line we have developed to ensure we have a much defined focus and program of activity  for player / member, mental health and overall well-being in the club.

Crokes TalksThe initiative was started in January 2015 and has grown from strength to strength. We have added a role to our executive entitled Club Wellbeing Officer. This role is held by Kevin Mulligan.   Along with Kevin, there is an active Crokes Talks Working group who are defining and implementing initiatives to maintain to drive education and involvement across the club in this area.   We also extend the reach of this program outside the club into the broader community and partner with other service providers and organizations who have expertise in this area.

As members will know, Kilmacud Crokes embarked on a focus in the club on our overall membership health and wellbeing under the banner of Crokes Talks. This effort is being lead by our Club Wellbeing Officer Kevin Mulligan.

The popular Crokes Recalls afternoon get together was held   on Wednesday April 27th between 3pm and 5pm in The Village Cafe.  Great time had by all in attendance. Watch for next Months event on the last Wednesday in May

KC Wheelers found a new use for our Club Hurling arena this week. For the 22  who signed up to  the bike repair workshop on Wednesday this week, it  was a great success.   The event was professionally presented by 3 mechanics from Belfield  bike shop.

5K Fun Run/Walk Wraps up Kickstart Crokes programme!

The Kickstart Crokes programme - which started in early January and saw members sign up for an 8 week exercise program across a number of activities including jogging, cycling, Pilates, yoga and circuit training – finished up on Sunday March 13th.
