Friends of the 2023 All Ireland Senior Football Club Champions - we need your Support
Sunday 22nd January was a tremendous day for all members of Kilmacud Crokes as the Senior Footballers brought the All Ireland title back to the club for only the third time. The scenes around the club that evening brought so much joy as young and old welcomed the team back to an unbelievable reception. Few thought it would have been possible following the disappointment of the last-minute defeat in January 2022.
The success did not happen by accident. Huge credit and praise must be given to the management and players who faced into a hugely competitive Dublin Club Championship with renewed vigour before representing their Club and members through Leinster and ultimately to All Ireland glory. They sacrificed so much to ensure that the summit was reached. Now, we would now like to support them as they look to get away, as a group, to celebrate their success with a well-deserved short holiday.
We are organising a fundraising competition, called Last Man Standing, and all funds raised will go directly to the holiday fund for the players and management. In true Crokes tradition a committee will be established to help drive ticket sales and we would ask that you look out for them and support it if you can.
