FUNDRAISING ... THE LENGTHS CROKERS GO TO!!
This Mizen to Malin challenge is one of the toughest undertakings yet by some of our club members. Like previous cycles/challenges we hope to raise money for Breast Cancer Ireland, which we have a close association with, as well as reducing the Kilmacud Glenalbyn Sports Club debt of approx €650,000. This debt belongs to all sections GAA, Tennis, Snooker etc & their members.
For the likes of Gerry Greene (pictured), Pat Halpin, Mick Garry, Hugh Campbell and Kevin Foley the 650km will be no more than a long spin after a night out, but for the rest of us the 5 days will be a serious challenge; some of the lads have even given up smoking and drinking!!
We would like to thank everyone for the support they have given so far and would encourage the whole Club to support this special fund raising event.
Start 30th May ...... Finish 3rd June
Sponsorship cards are available through your Sections or from the club office.
However, now that you are here, the quickest and easiest option is to click on this link to donate: we need the support of every member of this great Club so please dont hesitate:
