Kilmacud Crokes Focus on Disability Inclusion

Body

As members will likely be aware,  recently in the media in was announced that  JP McManus very generously donated 100,000 euro to each county board for the development of GAA sports in the clubs.  This translated into roughly 1,200 euro per club.  At a recent Kilmacud Crokes Club Executive meeting it was proposed and passed unanimously that this donation would channeled towards the development of our disability inclusion program in the club which is chartered out of out Club health and wellbeing strategy. The monies will be used to fund resources targeted at the development activities  for disability inclusion across the club. As a club we would like to thank JP McManus for his generous donation.  Pictured at  the presentation of a cheque for these monies are - Ronnie Murray (Club Pro) Kiera Brown ( Club Well Being Officer),   Orla Reck ( Inclusion Parental Advocate) and Kevin Foley ( Club Chairman). Also in other pictures are the members of Magella Murphy’s U12 Ladies football team who are making strides showing the way on how to support inclusion in their team.  Watch out for more communication on this overall program and should you wish to get involved,  as volunteers are key to the success for this project, please drop an email to info@kilmacudcrokes.com  and we will sign you up.
