Kilmacud Crokes Summer Programme; Schools out for Summer!!

Body

The Kilmacud Crokes Summer Programme kicks off on Monday 1st July  and runs through to Friday August 23rd.  Camps are open to both members and non-members and cater for boys and girls aged between 5 and 14.  Whatever their level of ability, we have ‘something for everyone’.  We offer coaching, practice, varied and new sporting experiences, competitions and fun in a safe environment.

The programme starts with 5 weeks of Multi Sports (GAA games, tennis, basketball, rounders, handball, co-operative games, athletics, soccer, dancing, treasure hunt/Mini Olympics, movies & more)  followed by 2 weeks of GAA Camp commencing on 12th August (football, hurling & camogie).   This year we are delighted to offer 3 weeks of Multi Sports Camp ‘As Gaeilge’, 15 – 19 July, 29 July – 2 August & 6 – 9 August, where all activities will be conducted through Irish in a friendly and encouraging way.

While we have our fingers crossed for sunshine, thanks to our indoor Hurling Arena and Clubhouse facilities, we’re ready whatever the weather!

Camps are directed by a Multi Sports Camp Co-ordinator (Lorcan Byrne) and Coaching and Games Development Officers Paraic McDonald and Niall Corcoran). They in turn are supported by a team of qualified/experienced Club Coaches.  Everyone involved has successfully completed the Club’s Garda Vetting Process.

Our Multi Sports Camp is suitable for children of all levels of ability between the ages of 5 to 12. The emphasis is on developing physical and sporting ability as well as providing children with an opportunity to experience creative skills in a structured and fun-filled environment. It is also an opportunity for everyone to socialise and make new friends.

Thanks to funding from Masterlink Logistics we have SNA's and extra coaches to support kids with individual needs.

*Multi Sports Camp registration and payment may be completed on-line at kilmacudcrokes.com OR by completing an application form available from the office (info@glenalbyn.ie).  GAA Camps registration are available on Kilmacudcrokes.com
