Mentors hear about player welfare and burnout from Pauric
Pauric Duffy the GAA's new Director General gave an absorbing talk on the issues of player welfare and indeed the importance of club games in the GAA calendar at the mentors dinner on Friday 16th November in Glenalbyn. The evening was well attended by mentors of teams from the nursery's under 5s to our Senior team. A super night was had by all and it was a great opportunity for new mentors of our younger teams to mingle with more established volunteers. Well done to John Shovlin for organising the night , acting as M.C. and getting so many bodies out.
A big thank you to Pauric Duffy for taking time out of his busy schedule to share some of his philosophies with the eager mentors in Kilmacud. We wish him all the best in the new challenges he faces as Director General.
