Pairc de Burca – Pitch Signage Opportunity
We all have seen the recent correspondence from the club re the opening of Pairc de Burca over the coming weeks. We had 4 weeks of great excitement where the Mini All Irelands were played on the pitch and we are now looking forward to the upcoming 7’s tournaments. The 1st competitive league game was played by our senior ladies footballers and culminated in a good win over our close rivals, Foxrock Cabinteely. The full return to training and competitive matches is being closely managed to facilitate grass growth on some areas of the pitch and to safeguard the surface.
Pairc de Burca has been one of the busiest pitches in the country for related (and other) events and the footfall, both locals and visitors, has been phenomenal across these years. We now embark on the next phase of showcasing the new Pairc de Burca and we welcome and are pleased to give the opportunity to our members and supporters to secure pitch advertising space surrounding the pitch. Before the full refurbishment and upgrade of the pitch, for many years, we had sole-traders, small businesses, SMEs, and medium and large scale organisations featured on signage around the pitch and we know they derived benefit from being able to profile their business as well as tangibly show their support for the club and the wider community.
In addition to Pairc de Burca, we now have new advertising slots available in the Paddock and in Silverpark, where we continue to see large crowds at games. See PDF File for more details.
At this stage, we are now going out to our general membership to make sure you, and our business or firm, are given the opportunity to advertise, in effect the first refusal, before we offer the signage opportunity more widely to other potential advertisers. At this stage all we ask is for you to send a statement of intent to take a slot, to info@glenalbyn.ie, and we will be in contact from there.
Looking forward to great sporting days ahead and as always your support is deeply appreciated
Kilmacud Crokes Commercial Committee.
