Tree Cutting To Facilitate Development of Parc De Burca
Friends
Associated with the development of Pairc de Burca (the Club’s main pitch), tree cutting along the Club’s main avenue off Stillorgan Road is scheduled to take place from 2nd to 6th July inclusive. For safety reasons during this period, access via the main Avenue for pedestrians, cyclists and cars will be supervised by the contractors engaged to carry out the work. Removal of the large Chestnut tree will take place on Thursday & Friday 5th & 6th July (weather permitting). Throughout these 2 days, the main Avenue and Allen Park gap will be fully closed off with no access at all possible from these areas. While access is affected while trees are being cut, games and business will carry on as usual in the Clubhouse and throughout the grounds.
Throughout the week be prepared to follow any instruction of the contractor. On the final two days our friends, members and customers may only access the Club via Glenalbyn Avenue i.e. alongside old swimming pool and Paddock.
If you have any queries about this, please contact the Club Office which may be contacted at info@glenalbyn.ie or 01 288 3017 (Tuesdays to Fridays).
I hope these works will not cause inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation in what is very important work for the future of our club.
Sincerely
Kevin Foley
