CLUB COACHING FORUM SATURDAY 25th JANUARY IN GLENALBYN

The Kilmacud Crokes Coaching Department's 2014 Club Coaching Forum is happening on Saturday January 25th from 12 noon to 5pm in Glenalbyn. Our club coaches have invited guest speakers/experts in their field to present on some of the most relevant key topics in Gaelic Games Coaching, using a blend of practical sessions and presentations. The forum will be free of charge and is open
to all coaches and members of Kilmacud Crokes GAA Club as well as Teachers from
our local Schools.

The Presenters on the day will be:
Paudie Butler - Former National
Director of Hurling, Inter County Manager, retired Primary School
Principal. Paudie will give his presentation on "Developing Competent,
Confident, Children". This talk will not just interest coaches working
with children but will in fact be off interest to anybody involved in
Teaching or Coaching.
Mick Bohan
- Head Coach of the 2014 Dublin Senior Football Team & DCU Sigerson
Team. Mick will give a practical demonstration on Skill development
titled "Raising the Bar through Complex Skills".
Kate Sheridan
- Chartered Physiotherapist, Athletic Therapy Trainer and Kilmacud
Crokes Ladies Footballer. Kate will introduce and give a
practical demonstration on the new GAA 15 Injury Prevention Warm Up"
Declan Browne
- IRFU Strength & Conditioning Coach & Sports Science Lecturer
and Kilmacud Crokes Senior Hurler. Declan will give a presentation on
"Pre season training for our Youth & Adult teams, the Do's &
Dont's". There will also be an opportunity for a Q & A with Declan
at the end.
