SILVERPARK - ATTENTION ALL PLAYERS AND MENTORS

Body
SILVERPARK - ATTENTION ALL PLAYERS AND MENTORSAs we all know, one of the fundamental principles of any GAA club is the integration of the club in the local community and enjoying the support of that community for all its activities. Unfortunately, a situation in Silverpark persists which is damaging that support and bringing negative feedback on the club as a result.  Despite clear signage to the contrary, members of the club are continuing to hit footballs and sliothars off some of the surrounding back walls of our neighbor's gardens.  On lots of occasions these balls go astray and end up in those gardens running the risk of injuring some unsuspecting person or causing damage to property.   We all need to work together to stop this from happening. We would ask all players young and old to stop this practice immediately. We would ask mentors, managers and other members who may observe this situation to actively intervene to stop these people putting our supportive neighbors and their property at risk. This includes intervening to address this for home team members and away team visitors.   If this practice is not stopped we run the risk of someone getting hurt, property being damaged and litigation being taken against the club. Ultimately, the overall membership will suffer because of the actions of an inconsiderate few.
