Kilmacud Crokes Club 'Social Story'

Body

In Kilmacud Crokes we continue on a journey of understanding and awareness to help make our Club a better place for the entire community.  As part of this initiative, we are delighted to launch a Kilmacud Crokes GAA Club ‘Social Story’.   In general, social stories are used to teach particular social skills, such as identifying important cues in a given situation (e.g. starting nursery), explaining rules and routines and to help manage expectations.    By providing relevant information, and some guidelines for behaviour, you can improve structure in someone’s life and thereby reduce anxiety.

We hope you will find our Social Story ( download below)  - which has been customised for underage groups - helpful.  For those who use the information, or believe we can improve this first edition, we would love to hear from you (healthyclub@kilmacudcrokes.com)
