The All Ireland Hurling 7’s Tournament is an Annual tournament which has been running for 50 years in Kilmacud Crokes and has been sponsored by the Beacon Hospital in recent years.
(The famous Buffer’s Alley of Wexford won the inaugural competition in 1973.)
It has been traditionally played on the eve of the All Ireland Hurling Final. The group stages are played in Silverpark, our neighbours Naomh Olaf & UCD with the semi finals and final being played in Pairc de Burca.
We also host the Shield Competition on the traditional eve of the All Ireland Final – the Shield is usually a competition for clubs from the less traditional hurling counties and they’ve been very loyal supporters of our All Ireland 7’s.
