Seniors kick off League Campaign with a draw
Crokes held by Vincent's
The Seniors had their first league match of the season on Saturday against St Vincent's. Played at Pairc Naomh Uinsionn the match was very competitive, even if both teams were a little rusty. Both teams had most of their county panellists available, which added to the occasion.
Crokes played the first half with the benefit of the breeze and, while we didn't make as much use of it as we could, we still led by 8 points to 6 at half time.
Vincent's started the second half with a point, to pull it back to the minimum but Oisín then scored a goal to put 4 points between us. We only scored 2 more points from there to the end, while we conceded some scoreable frees, which allowed Vincent's to draw the match at the death.
Final score was Kilmacud Crokes 1-10 St Vincents 0-13
