B's beaten by Boden in Quarter Final

Boden ease past Crokes in B Championship Q/F

Despite a relatively bright start, the concession of a first half penalty seemed to knock the stuffing out of Crokes. However they did finish the first half only 4 points in arrears; 1-09 to 0-08.

Boden stepped up a gear in the second half and - a porous Crokes defence, coupled with a misfiring foward line - meant Boden won out easy winners in the end, 5-16 to 1-11.

It was a night of mixed emotions for Crokes stalwart Matthew Geraghty, who heads off to foriegn lands for a year to continue his studies. We wish him well in his endeavours Bíodh am mór agat Matthew!!
