PHILIPS ACKNOWLEDGE KAVANAGHS CONTRIBUTION

Brian Kavanagh will be hoping to edge his county closer to Div 3 football in Longford's crucial derby match against Leitrim tomorrow - both sides are still in the hunt for promotion, adding spice to the game.  The show goes on!  A few short weeks ago, Brian was gutted following Kilmacud's loss to Crossmaglen in the club semi-final but his heartache was eased a little by John Coogan and his Philips colleagues.  They provided Brian with a super TV in appreciation of his wonderful exploits for Crokes in the club championship where he was voted top club player in Leinster.

 

Our photo shows Brian being presented with the Philips TV by Club Chairman, Tom Murphy.  We hope Brian gets to enjoy the video highlights of his wonderful year at some stage on the big screen.  All in Crokes  hope his scintillating form continues into this year's Dublin Championship - not far away now!
