U11's Belfast Trip

KC u11s (2007) took to the road on Saturday 29th September and headed up the M1 to a mini blitz being hosted by St Brigids GAA (Belfast). The other team participating in the blitz was St Geraldine's (Louth). Kilmacud Crokes had 48 players in attendance on the day, which was a fantastic turnout. The girls played their hearts out on the day and were given great support and encouragement from the sidelines. St Brigids were the perfect hosts and a gorgeous spread of sandwiches, fruit, buns , tea and coffee were laid on for the travelling players and supporters. Our hosts were very complimentary about the way the KC girls conducted themselves on and off the pitch, the future of ladies football in the club looks very bright with such great young ambassadors in our ranks. New connections were made and we plan to reciprocate the invitation extended to us and invite St Brigids down to Crokes in 2019. Overall a great day was had by all.
