DÚN LAOGHAIRE-RATHDOWN COUNTY COUNCIL WOMEN IN SPORT GRANTS.

The Camogie Committee of Kilmacud Crokes would like to acknowledge the financial support given by the Dun Laoghaire Rathdown Sports Partnership and Sport Ireland. Funding was received as part of the Women In Sport Grants Scheme to help fund the running of the Hurl with me programme. This programme was run in the club during 2022 as part of a Motivate, Nurture & Aspire (MNA) Programme being run by the Camogie Association. The MNA programme is designed to increase and sustain womenʼs involvement in Camogie through the development of female mentors within clubs, while also assisting clubs to empower female coaches through the provision of education, resources and support. The funding received was used to pay for expenses in relation to this including pitches, equipment and development. This will help to encourage the growth and development of women’s participation in the sport.
