Spreading festive cheer, our Kilmacud Crokes Choir, under the baton of Shane Barriscale, helped raise €5,000 for charity this December.

First up the choir made a guest appearance at the lighting up of the Laura Lynn Christmas Tree and were spotted on RTE’s Nationwide programme earlier this week.

Carolling in the shopping centre is now a Christmas tradition where €1,000 was raised for Laura Lynn, despite storm Elin doing its best to dampen the party.

The following day our choir joined forces with Cuala GAA choir for a fundraising concert in Glasthule Church, raising €4,000 for Unicef.

Finally, the busy Christmas period was brought to a close in Kilmacud Church where the choir joined the church’s children’s choir for carols and mince pies!

The choir would like to thank the community for their support for these two worthy charities and we wish all club members a very happy Christmas and New Year.

We will be back in the function room on Sunday 7th January at 6.30pm where new members will be welcome to join.  Contact : Mary 087 3782465
