Summer 7s Juvenile Football Tournament – A Huge Success!
Recently, our club hosted the thrilling Summer 7s Juvenile Football Tournament Finals, featuring our talented U13 and U14 players. The competition was a fantastic showcase of footballing skill, teamwork, and determination across all teams. With such talent on display, the future of our club is clearly in very safe hands!
We extend a heartfelt thank you to all players for their effort and sportsmanship, and a special word of appreciation to our dedicated coaches and referees whose time and commitment ensured the tournament ran smoothly from start to finish.
Congratulations to Down, who emerged as overall champions after a hard-fought victory against Kerry in a superb Championship final.
Well done also to our other winners:
- Dublin, who claimed the Cup after a dramatic penalty shootout win over Armagh,
- Tyrone, who lifted the Shield in another shootout thriller against Galway
- Cork, who staged an incredible comeback from 13 points down at halftime to win the Plate against Donegal.
