GAA Covid-19 Update
The Club Executive notes the statement issued by the GAA today a summary of which is set out below. For the full statement, please go to https://www.gaa.ie/news/gaa-return-to-action-protocol-update/
The Club will monitor very closely the GAA and County Board guidance as it issues over the coming weeks. We will of course at all times operate in accordance with Government and Public Health guidleines and regulations.
We note that the GAA has formed a committee to consider these matters and that it comprises GAA, Camogie, LGFA, medical and GAA player representatives.
In the meantime our GAA facilities will remain closed until 20th July at least in accordance with the guidance below and no on field activity can be organised.
This is a tough time for our players, managers, coaches and volunteers in all roles but the executive committee knows that the entire membership supports the proposition that we will follow all public health and GAA guidance in the coming period. We will do this in the interest of our health and in particular in the interest of the health of our players, coaches and managers and their families as well as the health of our community.

GAA facilities are to remain closed as part of efforts to prevent gatherings which breach the restrictions.
We are instructing our clubs and counties to continue to adhere to the restrictions and to refrain from organising on-field activity.
These measures are expected to remain in place until July 20 .
We will continue to monitor the dates and timelines as revealed by the Government and our arrangements will remain under constant review.
Our units are reminded that the Player Injury scheme is suspended and will remain so until an official return to action protocol is confirmed.
