What is Campa na nÓG?
Campa na nÓg is a Gaelic Games Camp incorporating a wide range of Gaelic Football, Hurling & Camogie activities, providing children with learning experiences in an environment of Fun and Enjoyment. Campa na nÓg will be suitable for all, from beginners to children who have been playing the game for many years.
Gaelic Football is played in the morning and Hurling & Camogie in the afternoon. Children must take part in both games i.e. Boys take part in both Football and Hurling; Girls take part in both Ladies Football and Camogie.
Groups are arranged according to age and ability.
The emphasis of the camp is on the acquisition and improvement of individual skills in a game based programme.
WHAT TO BRING
- Suitable playing gear: Tracksuit, Shorts and Football Boots.
- A change of gear or wet gear in case of rain.
- Hurley and Hurling Helmet (Hurley’s and Helmets can be purchased in the Kilmacud Crokes Club shop which is open in the Clubhouse on Saturday mornings 10.30am to 1.00pm and Thursday Evenings 8.30pm to 10.30pm).
- A packed lunch including a drink.
- Your own water bottle.
HOW TO APPLY
Download and complete form below, detach and return it along with the course fee in an envelope marked with the child’s name and “Campa na n-Óg 2016” to your child’s Club team manager or directly to Niall Corcoran or Paraic McDonald, Camp Directors.
In order to avoid disappointment, form should be returned before Thursday 24th March 2016.
Places are STRICTLY limited. The camp will be filled on a first come first served basis.
